Antler Plaques
Antler Plaques are a great way to display your trophy if you are on a budget.
I have built quite a collection of racks from the bucks that I have shot over the years; most of them are not very big.
I shot a one here and there every other year or so, some with the gun and some with the bow.
Every deer hunter starts by shooting does and small bucks. You have to get a few under your belt before you can start passing up bucks.
Just because the racks are small doesn’t mean they are not important to you. I have the date and place where each one was taken
Engraved on the Antler Plaque, so as the years go by I won’t forget the information. You can also attach the empty shell casing or broad head that the deer was taken with to add a little more to the story.
There is a story behind every deer shot, when I look at the antlers and read the date and place it brings me back to that time.

I am at a different stage now, I have taken a 2 and ½” year old buck the last two years in a row during the archery season in Wisconsin.
I am willing to hold out for a buck that will qualify for the record book.
I have a few of the bigger deer I have shot, mounted by a taxidermist with a full shoulder mount. My personal rule now states that in order for the deer to be mounted,
the rack must be larger then the last deer that I had mounted, or if it qualifies for the P&Y club.
For those on a budget like me, these Antler Plaques are a perfect way to display and remember your first few bucks taken.
Matt's Skull Cleaning - Don't ruin your trophy by boiling it. I use Dermestid beetles to clean the skull for my Antler Plaques
There are other antler mounting kits on the market, but none like the King Dimensions mounting kit. Everything you need is included. The beautiful solid oak plaque is sculpted using three dimensional technology. The fully adjustable mounting system is simple and easy to use with pictures and instructions. All mounting hardware is included.
