Compound Bows
There are many different Compound bows on the market today. You can spend anywhere from $100 to $700 for a good hunting bow. The bow I use now cost me about $400 and is 3 years old. It is a short bow,31” axel to axel. That is one of the things I really like about it.
I was shooting a 10 year old model when I finally decided to upgrade. Talk about a night and day difference. If you are shooting any thing more then 7 years old, do yourself a favor and upgrade this year, this summer in fact, so you have plenty of time to practice. It is fun to shoot when you can hit the bull’s eye from 50 yards and beyond. I have started practicing past 40 yards, and after you can hit the target with ease from that distance, the 20 yard shots seem like they are so easy.
