Trail Cam Pictures are great to help monitor your local deer population.

We have our cameras most of the year just to know how many and what size deer we have running around.

If you have a food plot, that is one of the best places to hang your camera.

We had one of our cameras set over our clover plot right before the bow opener. We got a real good picture of the buck I shot a week later.

I had a good idea of the deer we had by doing some long range scouting from a tree stood overlooking a soybean field. I had two bucks picked out that I would take if presented with a shot. When I saw the picture from the deer cam, I new it was worth taking, this is why cameras are great for preseason scouting.
